Food Safety Program
The Just Now Vending Food Safety Program is a comprehensive system of risk management applied to the receipt, storage, transportation and distribution of dry, and chilled food products and beverage to the general population via vending machines. There is also a heating option in some of the machines offered which are used for items such as burgers, pies, panini’s, focaccias, meals and other fresh food items.
It covers all activities of the business which impact on the safety and wholesomeness of the products distributed through the vending machines including purchasing, receipt, storage, transportation and the delivery of the food via the vending machine. Specifically, the scope of the Food Safety Program commences from the purchasing of goods through to their delivery to the customer.
The purpose of the program is to identify food safety risks and subsequently control these hazards through an integrated management system of monitoring, recording and taking corrective actions as required. The program undergoes routine verification steps and has been based on the HACCP methodology of risk management.
